Job Summary
A company is looking for an HR Specialist (Retirement) to support Human Resources Transactional Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the retirement program for Foreign and Civil Service employees
- Provide expert-level counseling on various federal retirement and benefits programs
- Collaborate with OPM and State Department to ensure timely processing of retirement applications
Required Qualifications:
- Mastery-level knowledge of Federal retirement and employee benefit programs
- 3 to 5 years of experience in providing Federal retirement and employee benefit advisory services
- Experience using automated payroll/personnel systems (e.g., HR Connect, NFC, GRB)
- Ability to develop written products including case file summaries and benefit notices
- Demonstrated customer service experience with Federal Benefit Program service providers
