Job Summary

A company is looking for an HR Specialist (Retirement) to support Human Resources Transactional Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer the retirement program for Foreign and Civil Service employees
  • Provide expert-level counseling on various federal retirement and benefits programs
  • Collaborate with OPM and State Department to ensure timely processing of retirement applications
Required Qualifications:
  • Mastery-level knowledge of Federal retirement and employee benefit programs
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in providing Federal retirement and employee benefit advisory services
  • Experience using automated payroll/personnel systems (e.g., HR Connect, NFC, GRB)
  • Ability to develop written products including case file summaries and benefit notices
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with Federal Benefit Program service providers
