Insurance Verification Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part Time Insurance Verification Specialist, Remote Nationwide or Onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services
• Document all authorization-related information in the EMR to support continuity of care
• Coordinate with providers, payers, and patients regarding authorization status and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• 1+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or patient registration
• 1+ years of experience with health insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid
• 1+ years of experience working with an EMR system
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products
