Malagasy Licensed Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to ensure compliance and manage legal risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Legal department and manage Onja's Legal Officer
• Provide legal guidance on compliance, contracts, and risk management
• Monitor compliance with Malagasy legal requirements and update internal policies

Required Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent legal education
• Experience in legal advisory roles, preferably in non-profit or social enterprises
• Knowledge of Malagasy legal frameworks, including tax and labor laws
• Ability to engage with external legal firms and regulatory bodies
• Proven track record in managing legal risks and compliance issues
