Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative (Non-Exempt).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing high standards of customer service and compassion
- Facilitate patient entrance processes including scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance
- Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and populated into the patient record
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
- High School diploma required; some college education is helpful
- Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines with high accuracy
- Physical ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs, and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing and walking
