A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist II (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Interview patients to obtain and document accurate demographic and insurance information
- Verify insurance eligibility and perform the check-in process, including collecting co-pays
- Manage daily worklists, assist in training staff, and provide proactive financial estimates to patients
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in customer service or healthcare revenue cycle
- Proficiency in EPIC, Microsoft Office Suite, and other computer programs
- Experience with patient collections in a medical setting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Post-secondary education preferred
