Key Responsibilities
- Process payments, adjustments, claims, and refunds accurately and timely
- Reconcile account balances and pursue payments or denials with payors
- Research payment discrepancies and communicate with internal and external customers to resolve issues
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- One or more years of experience in patient financial services or the insurance industry
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of common office software, including word processing and spreadsheets
- Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse range of audiences
