Key Responsibilities
- Perform registration and basic insurance verification to ensure accurate patient identification and billing
- Update patient demographic information in the patient accounting system according to departmental policies
- Educate patients on insurance issues and secure payment of their financial liabilities
Required Qualifications
- Two years of experience in a professional, customer service-driven environment preferred
- Experience in telephone/call center settings
- Preferred experience in pre-registration and/or scheduling
- Ability to work in a production-driven call-center environment
- Proficient in MS Office with fast and accurate typing skills
