A company is looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely employee compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multi-state payroll for over 2000 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Supervise payroll staff, providing direction and mentorship on performance and development
- Review payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts monthly
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sophisticated formulas and data analysis
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience with payroll process improvements and compliance audits
- Familiarity with payroll platforms such as Workday or SAP is a plus
