Platform Support Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Support Engineer specializing in IBM Cloud Pak for Data.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide front-line troubleshooting and issue resolution for large-scale enterprise applications
• Perform application performance tuning, scaling, and ensure connectivity security for cloud-based infrastructure
• Run tests and interpret systems metrics to resolve problems in an Agile environment

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Systems Support Engineering and Data Engineering
• Proficiency in application performance tuning and cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Jira
• Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule
• Preferred co-location with a major facility, especially in Puerto Rico
