Key Responsibilities
- Record patient information and physician activities in the medical chart for approval
- Transcribe history and physical examinations during patient encounters
- Gather and check laboratory and radiology results for physician review
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- West Virginia state criminal background check required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and accepted abbreviations
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new applications quickly
- Typing speed of 50 words per minute preferred
