Payroll Consultant (Open to Remote)

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To be responsible for payroll processing, issue resolution, and payroll related reporting for assigned regions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES MAY INCLUDE
• Oversees the payroll processing and transmission for assigned regions (may include US, Canada and/or LATAM).
• Reviews, audits, and performs reconciliation of various payroll reports.
• Researches and provides resolutions related to escalated payroll issues/inquiries.
• Serves as back-up for payroll related functions.
• Develops and coordinates delivery of custom payroll related reporting for internal and external customers.
• Leads and conducts system testing for payroll system changes and enhancements.
• Assists with coordination of information requests relating to financial audits.
• Serves as subject matter expert for payroll system processes maintaining working knowledge of federal, state/provincial, and local payroll and tax regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Six (6) years of payroll experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Multi-state/locality, Canadian and /or LATAM payroll experience preferred.
• Workday experience
• Highly skilled in Excel
• US/Canada/LATAM experience (Canada experience required)

Work environment requirements for entry-level opportunities include –
