Key Responsibilities
- Conduct follow-up activities on accounts, including resolving claims and disputed balances
- Assist in training new or existing staff and provide support for team members
- Research accounts using various resources and maintain productivity and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 2-5 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance-related collections
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Intermediate knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
- Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
