A company is looking for a Healthcare Customer Service Rep II.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage policy inquiries, including billing, member information updates, terminations, and ID card processing
- Provide accurate information regarding benefits, assist with prior authorizations, and conduct provider contact research
- Address claims inquiries, provide status updates, and assist with reconsideration requests
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, or medical office settings
- Proven experience in customer service related to claims processing or billing
- Solid understanding of healthcare terminology, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
