(STI) is hiring for a Key Account Manager role in the US market, specifically within the fiber optic cable and optical interconnect industry. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with key clients, driving sales growth, and ensuring high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships in the fiber optic and optical interconnect sectors.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Analyze customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Advocate for customer needs internally.
• Address and resolve client concerns promptly.
• Stay informed on US market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
• Prepare progress reports and sales forecasts.
• Manage contract negotiation and execution.

Skills
• Minimum 5 years in Key Account Management or a similar technology-focused, client-facing role
• Direct experience in B2B account management for fiber optic cable or optical interconnects is highly desirable
• Proven ability to manage large accounts (e.g., over $25M annual revenue) and acquire new business
• Successful history of meeting or surpassing sales targets
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools
• Strategic thinking with knowledge of market trends
• Ability to navigate large organizations and build strong client relationships
• Strong commercial skills, including contract negotiation
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Proactive and results-oriented with a passion for technology
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and new technologies
• Experienced in Key Account Management or a similar role within the telecom sector
• Knowledgeable in fiber optic cable and optical interconnect products and the US market
• Skilled in relationship building, sales, and strategic planning
• Capable of cross-functional collaboration and managing multiple accounts
• Proficient in CRM software and data analysis

Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field required
• Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) preferred
