SQL Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SQL Database Administrator to support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SQL and data within the HSP technology stack
• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high data availability and security
• Provide technical support and collaborate with the development team to optimize database design

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and data modeling tools
• Strong understanding of database management systems and ETL frameworks
• Knowledge of database architecture and security for on-premise and cloud-hosted systems
