Staff Accountant II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant II to perform advanced accounting tasks related to financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly internal financial statements for accuracy and timely reporting
• Review source documentation, verify coding, and prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP
• Assist in closing the general ledger monthly and respond to financial inquiries accurately

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting is required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a staff level accountant in a multi-company, multi-location environment
• Experience in general ledger close, account analysis, and account reconciliation
