Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oncology Outpatient Social Worker.

Key Responsibilities

• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds to assess patient needs for discharge transitions
• Utilizes crisis intervention techniques to support patients and families with medical and psychosocial needs
• Maintains effective documentation and ensures compliance with organizational policies

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from a Council of Social Work Education accredited institution
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
• Preferred 2 years of post-graduate experience in a medical setting, with oncology experience preferred
