Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and resolve escalated member or provider issues
- Train staff and provide informational resources for the service center
- Maintain records and track cases for assigned areas of benefits services
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Three to four years of experience in a high-volume service center or managed care environment
- Substantial previous related work experience in managed care benefits member/provider services
- Ability to handle a high volume of incoming calls and maintain a professional demeanor
- Familiarity with the company's customer information systems and benefit plans
