A company is looking for a Revenue Specialist for the Veterans Administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate Veterans Administration claim payments using proprietary software and tools
- Research and acquire necessary medical records to support hospital claims for prompt reimbursement
- Conduct follow-up with payers to ensure claims and documentation are received for timely reimbursement
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2-4+ years' experience in healthcare billing or collections
- 2+ years' client-facing/customer service experience
- 1+ years' experience with VA billing and collections required
- Intermediate understanding of insurance claims processing and government veteran benefit programs
