VA Revenue Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Specialist for the Veterans Administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate Veterans Administration claim payments using proprietary software and tools
• Research and acquire necessary medical records to support hospital claims for prompt reimbursement
• Conduct follow-up with payers to ensure claims and documentation are received for timely reimbursement

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2-4+ years' experience in healthcare billing or collections
• 2+ years' client-facing/customer service experience
• 1+ years' experience with VA billing and collections required
• Intermediate understanding of insurance claims processing and government veteran benefit programs
