Job Summary
A company is looking for a Customer Service Representative with veterinary experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Request and communicate with Veterinarians for clarification of diagnoses and additional information for claim processing
- Adjudicate claims for deductibles, co-pays, and provider reimbursements, following policies for proper payment
- Document phone calls, resolve issues from claim adjudication, and prepare reports as required by management
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- One year of veterinary medical experience or equivalency preferred
- Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology
- Proven history of adherence to corporate policies and procedures
- Excellent tracking, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
