Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Handles medical only workers' compensation claims, including investigations and maintaining records
• Establishes immediate contact with policyholders, claimants, and medical providers for claim evaluations
• Processes claim-related communications and determines appropriate actions on claims

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Successful completion of Introduction to Insurance, Introduction to Claims (AIC30), and medical interpretation course preferred
• Appropriate license as required by state is strongly recommended
• Experience in handling workers' compensation claims is beneficial
• Ability to work from home within the designated footprint
