Radiology Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Radiology Coordinator to provide technical, clinical, and communication support within the radiology team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle calls from physicians, verify identities, and connect them to radiologists
• Act as a liaison between the hospital, clinical contacts, and radiologists
• Ensure exams are ready for interpretation by managing prior exams and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience preferred
• 5+ years in a technical healthcare environment, preferably with radiology experience
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, Voice Recognition, and EHR/EMR systems
• Excellent customer service and proficiency in MS-Office
• Solid understanding of radiology workflows
