Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Specialist, DBA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations by reviewing claims and policy information
• Contact and interview relevant parties to secure necessary claim information
• Prepare detailed reports on investigations, settlements, and claim evaluations

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in handling workers' compensation claims
• Strong technical knowledge of claims handling processes and terminology
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable state and local laws related to the line of business handled
• Experience with Defense Based Act and/or Longshore workers' compensation claims is preferred
