A company is looking for a Claims Specialist, DBA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations by reviewing claims and policy information
- Contact and interview relevant parties to secure necessary claim information
- Prepare detailed reports on investigations, settlements, and claim evaluations
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in handling workers' compensation claims
- Strong technical knowledge of claims handling processes and terminology
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable state and local laws related to the line of business handled
- Experience with Defense Based Act and/or Longshore workers' compensation claims is preferred
