Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Comp Claims Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely and accurate claim processing
• Contact relevant parties to gather injury and insurance information, and submit claims to insurance carriers
• Provide customer support regarding the Workers' Compensation process and manage appeals for denied claims

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
• 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or workers' compensation
• Strong customer service background with a positive attitude
• Proficient in data entry, MS Office applications, and navigating web-based applications
• Ability to manage a large workload effectively and maintain organization and time management
