A company is looking for a Workers Comp Claims Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely and accurate claim processing
- Contact relevant parties to gather injury and insurance information, and submit claims to insurance carriers
- Provide customer support regarding the Workers' Compensation process and manage appeals for denied claims
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
- 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or workers' compensation
- Strong customer service background with a positive attitude
- Proficient in data entry, MS Office applications, and navigating web-based applications
- Ability to manage a large workload effectively and maintain organization and time management
