Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to manage claims in IL, MI, IN, and MD remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and transmit workers' compensation information accurately and timely
• Investigate and resolve lost time Workers' Compensation claims, including litigated claims
• Enter and maintain accurate information in the claims processing system

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma; college degree preferred, with technical designations encouraged (AIC, CPCU)
• 3-5 years of claims experience, specifically in Workers' Compensation claims handling
• Active state-specific Workers' Compensation License or ability to acquire it within three months
• Proficient knowledge of Workers' Compensation insurance coverage and claims processing procedures
• Strong grasp of claims principles, practices, and insurance coverage interpretation
