Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I responsible for managing the loss mitigation process for mortgage loan borrowers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Point of Contact for borrowers during the loss mitigation process, including package collection and foreclosure
- Answer consumer inquiries regarding their accounts and document interactions in the mortgage servicing system
- Communicate loss mitigation options, decisions, and the foreclosure process while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
- Excellent customer service skills
- Mortgage collections experience is preferred
