Authorization and Reimbursement Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient Authorization and Reimbursement Coordinator (Remote) for the Rehabilitation department.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with payers via fax or telephone
• Document authorization information and review chart documentation
• Communicate authorization status to the therapy team and patient access/scheduling staff

Required Qualifications

• Must reside in Maryland and be able to visit the site periodically
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Minimum 1 year of experience navigating insurance systems for coverage and authorization
