Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Grievance and Appeals Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and report on member and provider complaints, grievances, and appeals
- Prepare response letters for complaints and maintain accurate files for appeals and grievances
- Coordinate Grievance and Appeals Committee activities and assist with data entry and reporting for pay-for-performance programs
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in grievance/appeals, claims, or related managed care
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology
- Associate's degree preferred
- Experience in healthcare call centers or administrative roles preferred
