California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support its growth by contributing to the close and improving the accounting process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations for the card rewards program
• Develop data analytics and visualizations for management to analyze the rewards program
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• Experience with top tier accounting firms and CPA
• 5 years of related professional experience or a Master's degree with 3 years experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficient with Excel and experience with data analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau or Alteryx is a plus
