Job Summary
A company is looking for a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (Fully Remote) - COA.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient caseload and communicate based on patient needs
- Educate patients and families on self-management and treatment adherence
- Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of work experience in eye care preferred
- Active Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT/COMT) designation required
- Proficient with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
- Must have a dedicated, HIPAA-compliant workspace
- Ability to work during normal business hours in patients' time zones
