Charge Edit Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Edit Analyst (Remote in Wisconsin/Michigan).

Key Responsibilities

• Review, correct, and approve charges in pended or assigned error reports
• Ensure accuracy of charge input by analyzing assigned charge processes daily
• Report charge processing/posting problems to Revenue Integrity management for resolution

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of three years' experience in a medical business office or healthcare setting
• Successful completion of CPT, HCPCS, ICD, and medical terminology courses within one year of hire
• Educational qualifications must be from an accredited institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation
• Experience with charge entry processes in a healthcare setting is preferred
• No specific certifications or licenses are required
