CPA Associate Technical Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Technical Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, draft, and maintain technical accounting memos on complex transactions
• Support M&A, restructurings, and valuations, including ASC 805 purchase price allocations
• Assist in designing and operationalizing crypto accounting policies and contribute to financial reporting

Required Qualifications

• Active CPA or equivalent with 5-8 years of experience, preferably in Big 4 assurance or technical advisory
• Solid foundation in U.S. GAAP with experience drafting memos and disclosures
• Exposure to complex transactions such as M&A and equity/debt instruments
• Proficiency with ERP systems and interest in accounting automation/crypto sub-ledger tools
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving policies
