Job Summary

A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor, fully remote in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with individuals over the phone, providing support to those experiencing emotional distress or mental health challenges
• Assess and mitigate risk while maintaining accurate documentation and providing resources and referrals as needed
• Maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant private workspace to ensure confidentiality and focus

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
• Minimum of 1 year direct experience in Behavioral Health or Social Services
• Strong background in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related behavioral healthcare field
• Experience in crisis support or similar roles is highly valued
• Ability to work in a fully remote environment with a stable, wired internet connection
