Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician in a Call Center setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient/provider/customer care and assist with medication delivery and inventory management
- Utilize the pharmacy computer system to support patient care and maintain pharmacy records
- Participate in training new pharmacy personnel and perform housekeeping duties in compliance with policies
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience required
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician within 2 years from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB or NHA) is required
- Computer literacy and familiarity with the healthcare regulatory environment are necessary
- Experience with pharmaceutical names and teamwork is essential
