Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Business Development - Government Contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a government contracting strategy to support revenue growth
• Identify and prioritize opportunities with government agencies and climate-focused initiatives
• Lead the lifecycle of government proposals, ensuring compliance and competitive submissions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Political Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 8-10+ years of experience in business development, proposal management, or government contracting
• Proven record of leading winning proposals for multi-million-dollar government contracts
• Familiarity with procurement systems such as MERX, Buyandsell.gc.ca, and SAM.gov
• APMP certification or equivalent is an asset
