Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of VPP Operations, responsible for overseeing VPP operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement operational strategies to ensure error-free execution and compliance with regulatory and business goals
• Manage day-to-day operational tasks for VPPs, including contract fulfillment, compliance submissions, and market bidding
• Lead cross-team communication and collaboration, serving as the operational point of contact for various internal teams

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electric market operations or trading, preferably in the California energy market
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for modeling, analysis, and reporting
• Experience managing teams and providing guidance to junior members
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote environment and manage work independently
