At Centria Healthcare’s Life Skills Autism Academy, we’re dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the Autism Spectrum. We’re seeking compassionate, skilled, and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team in Greenwood, IN, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

About Our Organization

Centria Healthcare is a leading provider of autism services, committed to helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) achieve their full potential. Our Life Skills Autism Academy is a dynamic and supportive environment where our clients receive personalized ABA therapy, tailored to their unique needs and goals. As a Center-Based RBT, you’ll be an integral part of our team, working closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other professionals to deliver exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in client’s individualized treatment plan, built by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training, supporting them in implementing strategies to promote client progress.
• Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress, as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
• Utilize safe and appropriate procedures when working with clients, reporting all critical incidents and safety concerns in a timely manner.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials, behavior reduction assessments, and skills acquisition.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge

To succeed as a Center-Based RBT with our team, you’ll need:
• Current certification as a Behavior Technician (BT) as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), or be willing to complete a 40-hour training course and sit for your RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment.
• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation, with proof of driver’s license and valid car insurance (in some cases).
• The ability to physically perform the demands of the job, including getting down on the floor and standing up many times, lifting up to 50lbs, and running/moving quickly if required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions.
• A positive attitude, patience, and emotional control, even in challenging situations.
• Proficiency in using digital applications and mobile devices to record data and navigate technology.
• Cultural competency, flexibility, and open-mindedness.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following experiences and skills are highly valued:
• Previous experience working as a Behavioral Technician, Teacher’s Aid, Tutor, CNA, Caregiver, or Home Health Aide.
• Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities.
