A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor to provide support to individuals experiencing emotional distress or mental health challenges in a fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with individuals over the phone, providing emotional support and crisis intervention
- Assess and mitigate risk while maintaining accurate documentation and developing safety plans
- Maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace to ensure confidentiality and focus during calls
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year direct experience in Behavioral Health or Social Services
- Strong background in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related behavioral healthcare field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
