Health Information Management Operations Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIM Operations Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as point of contact for HIM Leadership when off-site and oversees daily HIM operations
• Monitors unbilled accounts and organizes responses to automated e-Requests for claims processing
• Coordinates training and development for HIM Operations staff and ensures compliance with policies and standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of one year of HIM department and HIM operations experience required
• RHIA or RHIT certification preferred; candidates currently in HIM accredited programs will be considered
• Knowledge of human anatomy, medical terminology, and privacy of personal health information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
