Healthcare Account Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Account Specialist - RCM - MVA.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of healthcare claims accounts by contacting insurance companies, employers, or patients to resolve claims
• Draft appeals and demands to insurance companies to ensure timely resolution and payment of claims
• Utilize federal and state laws to maintain knowledge of clients, states, and insurers while achieving monthly QA and productivity goals

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement or related roles
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Experience with various EHR software (e.g., EPIC, Cerner, Meditech)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Analytical skills and conflict resolution experience
