Job Summary

A company is looking for a Rep 2, Insurance Verification Coordinator II.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and document new and existing patient insurance coverage and communicate costs to patients and billing
  • Contact insurance carriers for prior authorizations and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Communicate with internal teams and patients regarding insurance eligibility and medical supply purchases
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of related experience or training
  • 1 year of experience in the medical industry or call center/customer service
  • Ability to read and interpret medical supply publications and technical procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to complete insurance verifications efficiently with minimal errors
