Long Term Disability Claims Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Long Term Disability Claims Specialist (Part Time).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of moderately complex claims, including pending, ongoing, and appeal reviews
• Provide timely and accurate claims reviews and documentation in accordance with regulations
• Communicate proactively with claimants to gather essential information and provide updates on the claim process

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of LTD/IDI Insurance Claims experience
• Experience in independent judgment and decision-making
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and analysis
• Proficiency in calculating benefits and understanding policy details
• Experience in addressing and resolving escalated customer complaints
