Managed Care Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managed Care Services Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with practices, physicians, and patients to obtain and record Managed Care insurance referrals in the referral management system
• Document and track referrals, follow up on unresolved issues, and communicate with patients and payors as necessary
• Verify and update patient registration information and assist with resolving insurance discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Registration, Scheduling, and Insurance Authorization in a healthcare setting
• 5 years of customer service experience required
• Experience with EPIC and medical office workflows is required
• Proficient with office software packages, including Microsoft Office applications
