Medical Billing Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit electronic and paper claims daily and resolve failed claims for timely reimbursement
• Manage a high volume of claim transactions across all service lines
• Train Billing Representative I staff on system functionality and foundational billing procedures

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated ability to fulfill job duties
• Prior experience in healthcare revenue cycle, billing, or insurance processes is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (intermediate to advanced level)
• Expanded knowledge of Epic systems preferred
