Missouri Licensed Controller Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller Operations (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash management
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closings and account reconciliations while maintaining compliance with donor restrictions and grant terms
• Supervise a team of accounting professionals and serve as the primary contact for external auditors

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of progressive fund accounting experience in higher education or complex nonprofit
• Supervisory experience in accounting or finance
• Direct experience with grant, endowment, and investment accounting
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles
