Job Summary
A company is looking for a Nurse Practitioner Behavioral Health for a full-time remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical management and collaborate with the psychiatric team for patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Assess patients for acute suicide and violence risk, recommending appropriate care levels
- Coordinate services and education for patients, families, and staff to promote quality care
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program
- Master's or Doctorate degree is required
- Active Nurse Practitioner Nevada license and APRN licensure within 9 months of hire
- Federal and State DEA certification required within 9 months of hire
