Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determining interventions based on those goals
• Develops and maintains relationships with clients to monitor emotional and behavioral changes, referring to clinical staff as needed

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Demonstrated competency in recognizing and addressing client needs
• Ability to advocate for appropriate resources based on assessed client needs
• Experience in providing support and referrals in a customer-friendly manner
• Understanding of recovery-oriented practices and client-centered approaches
