A company is looking for a Claims/Customer Care Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Process routine to complex claims and adjustments while providing customer service via inbound calls and written communications
- Conduct claims research and respond to inquiries as directed by management
- Assist with projects and provide mentoring or training to team members
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Associate degree in business, healthcare administration, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of customer service or claims experience, preferably in dental or healthcare insurance
- Professional certifications such as Certified Dental Billing Specialist (CDBS), Certified Dental Coder (CDC), or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) are a plus
- Basic to advanced Microsoft Office skills depending on the position level
- Knowledge of dental benefits, services, terminology, and HIPAA regulations
