Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Legal Counsel to assist its veterinary health organization on a full-time, contract basis for an initial 4-month term.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for commercial procurement contracts and internal procurement teams
• Review marketing content and guide the marketing team to ensure compliance with legal guidelines
• Assist with corporate structure changes, corporate filings, and provide regulatory advice

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in corporate counsel functions, particularly in commercial and marketing areas
• Experience with corporate structures and regulatory functions in human health, veterinary health, dental health, or optometry is preferred
• Ability to work remotely; preference for candidates in the Portland/Vancouver area
• Experience with IP and data privacy concerns related to commercial contracts
• Familiarity with corporate filings and general corporate counsel work
