Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage scheduling and pre-registration documentation for patient inquiries
- Educate patients and providers on patient care issues, including insurance and service availability
- Obtain, update, and verify patient demographics and insurance information accurately
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Customer service experience
- Ability to manage inquiries via telephone and electronic correspondence
- Experience with health information systems (HIS)
- Knowledge of patient care issues and insurance processes
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
